I’m an incoming PhD student in Computer Science and Knight-Hennessy scholar at Stanford University, where I’m rotating with Prof. Fei-Fei Li at Stanford Vision and Learning Lab. Previously, I received my M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, where I was advised by Prof. Fei-Fei Li and Prof. Jiajun Wu. I received my B.A. in Computer Science and Visual Arts from Columbia University, where I was advised by Prof. Hod Lipson.
I believe some of the most meaningful questions live at the boundary of science and art. Through art, I translate scientific outputs into philosophical discussions, asking “how?” and “why?" Through science, I try to find new possibilities for creating artwork and re-interpreting the world. Toward this goal, my research focuses on physically challenging tasks and systems, as well as advanced human-in-the-loop systems for effective collaboration.

I’m an avid cinephile; in my spare time I write fiction and screenplays, I’m into anime/manga culture, and I draw anime fan art.
